I'm not sure if you guys typically use Bootcamp for Mac gaming, but keep in mind that Bootcamp is the only way to boost your built in display refresh rate. I've settled for 90hz so I can play at max render quality and still keep a little smoothness. I tested a Rocket League running 120hz and it was smooth as hell, but required too many settings lowered for it to be playable. I first tried it in the Nvidia Control Panel, but testing 120hz resulted in nothing but static.

I managed to get my Macbook Pro to display 120fps at native resolution (1440x900 in my case) while running Bootcamp Windows by using Custom Resolution Utility. I haven't seen ANY chatter about this anywhere on the web, so I thought you guys might want to know about it. This won't be a horribly detailed post, just a notice that higher refresh rates are possible on Mac laptops.

Has anyone every done any actual testing how important convection is in a PC case?
